Monica and her husband, Michael, moved to Savannah in 2020 from their hometown of Jupiter, a small quaint beach and golf town located on the east coast. After graduating from Florida State University, she began a career in the world of professional golf. After over a decade of planning galas and golf tournaments, she realized that her true passion was event planning. She spent as many weekends as she could working on weddings as a lead floral designer and eventually decided to marry her passions for event planning and design. In 2020, right before the world shut down, she founded M. Kennedy Events + Weddings, an event and wedding planning firm, serving South Florida and Georgia.
Monica takes a thoughtful approach to every event. With years of experience in the industry Monica thrives on perfecting event logistics through preparation and obsessive organization, one of her many trademarks. Her commitment to the industry has allowed her to serve brides and high profile clients all throughout the country.
